REAL TIME MATTRESS PRESSURE ANALYSIS This is a system that attempts to align the subjective perception a customer develops when lying on a mattress with hard science which gives them a perception of buying a mattress with a more analytical view and tailored to their own sense of comfort. The systemis designed to allow the manufacturer and retailer to measure pressure distribution and magnitude between the customer and the seleeping surface. It captures data from a series of sensor points propagated across the body surface from a sensor pad and assimilates the data into our powerful windows based software providing you with clorized pressure maps which shows the high pressure areas which cause tossing and turning while sleeping. (see picture) The retailer can lend a scientific validity to an otherwise subjective process of purchasing a mattress. It can increase mattress sales,lower post-purchase dissonance which traslates into fewer product returns, increase sales revenue by up-selling one level.
